Getting yourself transported by helicopter, a wonderful and, above all, fast way of transportation. Unfortunately, there are many rules and restrictions to comply with in the Netherlands, so helicopter flights for daily use cannot yet be carried out the same way it is already done in Germany or the US. Radio 1 program PREMtime stopped by Heli Holland to look at the possibilities.
Private helicopter flight
Fast from A to B, no traffic jams and arriving directly at the destination. This used to require only permission from the mayor, but these times have changed. Now a helicopter landing at a location other than a heliport requires a permit and surveys at the landing site. In this way, it has become a lot more difficult to get to your destination quickly with your business associates or colleagues. Should you then choose not to do it?
