This involves the use of instruments in the helicopter, guidance equipment on the ground and traffic control. A requirement for pilots who want to fly Offshore.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Normally, Instrument Rating is started after obtaining the CPL. The student learns to control the helicopter through directions on the instruments. Learning this skill requires a lot of training and guidance, physically, mentally and communicatively because IFR flights are often flown by 2 pilots. They also learn to work with advanced navigation and communication systems and autopilots.<\/p>\n\n<p>The training begins on our certified helicopter simulator, as it allows you to learn the basic skills efficiently.
